English is a complex language. It is filled with spelling and pronunciation challenges. Where do words like buffet, cousin, canyon, dwindle, and mosquito come from? How did they become a part of our language? Knowledge of the history of English and how and when to introduce the various elements of our language enhances the teaching of decoding, vocabulary, and spelling. Join us for this informative and lively session. Book signing to follow.
